Rural Electric Supply Cooperative (RESCO), is a wholesale distributor of high voltage electrical products. As a member-owned organization, we provide electric cooperatives and utilities in the Upper Midwest with competitive pricing, delivery and support for their electrical supply needs. We are a mid-size organization with under 100 employees in eight states and are looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the inside sales team at our Moorhead, MN office. Responsibilities include:
Assist with large bids and projects.
Work with manufacturers’ representatives on lead-time, availability, pricing, and order expedites.
Manage the implementation of new customer alliances and new RESCO Connect members.
Partner with the purchasing department to assist with inventory levels, forecasting and stocking suggestions.
Collaborate with account managers to align efforts and ensure exceptional customer service.
Assist with resolving any customer issues.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, providing insights on trends, challenges and opportunities.
Prepare quotes and enter and maintain orders in ERP system for assigned customer base.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to hiring and training employees; assigning and directing work; completing performance reviews; coaching and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, sales or a related field. Five plus years of sales experience is preferred. Other qualifications include:
