Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
We currently have a need for a Manager of Revenue Management Applications for Pharmaceutical IT. This role will lead software development teams consists of technical leads, developers, scrum masters. This team will be responsible for delivering and managing quality software solutions in SAP, Vendavo and cutting edge Blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities
The scope of this role is to provide leadership and subject matter expertise for the Pharma Revenue Management applications area.
Management and support for Customer Pricing functions within the Pharma landscape.
Execution and management of the Revenue Management applications for - contracts and pricing functionality that supports the Pharma business segment.
Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and support facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application experience.
Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from "out of the box" functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition
Keeping up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
Maintain strategic relationships with all key stakeholders.
Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
Provide solution leadership, organizing, and overseeing projects.
Solution ownership of defects, enhancements, and new build projects.
Help in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.
Collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.
Ensure all critical processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.
Closely work with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operations.
Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings for Revenue Management applications.
Qualifications
8-12 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor?s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with expertise in J2EE, API development, Integration Technologies or similar and Test-Driven Development, preferred
5+ years of experience managing/leading software development teams both onshore and offshore, preferred
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Prior working experience with GCP is a preferred.
Strong project management skills, including ability to manage timelines, delivery, quality. Sound understanding of financial management preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, foster collaboration, and build strong client relationships preferred
Experience working with SAP, Vistex, Vendavo and Blockchain technologies preferred.
Business acumen in pharmaceutical wholesale distribution space preferred.
