As a result of our US growth, we are looking for a savvy hydronics/mechanical engineer/plumbing designer to help shore up our technical services and layout support efforts. Would require excellent engineering skills and some travel/training, etc.
This job does not entail daily design and layout responsibilities but will intitially include support of sales reps along with the technical questions and support of plumbing design engineers wishing to incorporate Kemper products into their projects.
Understanding flow and pressure/heat loss calculations and hydronic balancing are required in order to validate the effective use of our valves into plumbing projects.
This is a ground floor opportunity with a leading edge company introducing new technologies into the US plumbing industry.
Reviews and understands blueprint and cad drawings of building plumbing systems and can make recommendations for the incorporation of Kemper Water Control System’s (KWCS) products where suitable.
Provides in depth product, service, technical and engineering support to clients and prospects.
Versed in CAD and Revit software applications for building and plumbing systems.
Becomes immersed in the technical aspects of KWCS products and their applications in order to be able to effectively and knowledgeably consult with plumbing design engineers on hot and cold-water building plumbing systems
Works with and calls on sales representative agencies, engineers, contractors, architects, building owners, healthcare ownership groups, facilities managers and wholesale distributors.
Increases sales agency representative’s knowledge by providing technical information, onsite training and online training webinars.
Attends trade shows, tabletop exhibits, trade association meetings, seminars and conferences in order to promote KWCS products while remaining knowledgeable and informed of industry practices, codes and trends.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: •KWCS employment is based on a 40 hour working week with some weekend and evening travel (trade shows, seminars, meetings, etc.).
