Support the Head of Financial Institutions and form an integral part of the overall sales and service proposition of UK Wholesale. In order to meet growth strategy targets for net sales and increase market share, the purpose of this role is to provide a proactive sales support function for the Wholesale distribution channels.
Primarily it will provide support to the Financial Institutions client facing channel in order to assist in maximizing effectiveness in managing relationships, asset growth and service of Clients.

Responsible for all aspects of client needs
Responsible for all aspects of sales support needs
Organising Client due diligence meetings
Ongoing interaction with Client and RM to ensure a comprehensive relationship coverage, including meeting follow up
Timely execution of tasks to include eg – distribution of investment marketing collateral / Due Diligence questionnaires / RFP's / fund queries / CRM tool maintenance
Maintain a broad understanding of industry and market knowledge
Identify market and asset allocation trends within the respective client segments and contribute to the business plan (this includes marketing campaigns, technical market, actively participate in pre-sales preparation ie updating presentations / company research and collation of relevant material
To work with key internal stakeholders such as Investments (including CIOs), Product, Client Propositions and Global Segments to deliver business plan
To commercialise external publications for the relevant client segment
Build lasting relationships with tiered/key accounts
Build strong relationships with Front office, Product and Client Propositions
Contribute proactively to the overall sales process, growth strategy and client contact strategy
Ensure a seamless process between Client Propositions and Client Service
This role requires a strong technical understanding of the macroeconomic environment, industry and asset classes to generate high level of engagement within all levels of the client (Research Analysts, Portfolio managers etc)
Maintaining and developing knowledge of industry trends and regulatory knowledge
Maintaining and developing a strong understanding of asset class trends and drivers of risk and return
Having a detailed knowledge of competitors and products.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Good knowledge of Investment Products and Services
Broad understanding of asset management industry
Experience with wholesale clients / financial institutions i.e. Private Banks / Hedge Funds / DFMs / Family Offices
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Flexible attitude and ability to work to strict deadlines
Ability to communicate at all levels
