This position will provide financial support to the President of the Company and support a variety of wholesale distribution company finance and accounting activities. Primary responsibility is to manage accounting department, prepare monthly financial statements in an accurate and timely manner, maintain proper accounting for benefit plans, equity and corporate insurance, plus manage relationships with external professional service providers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Active role in risk management programs with insurance broker.
Monitor and coordinate services and compliance for company benefit plans.
Manage banking relations.
Prepare monthly / quarterly sales and use tax returns. Evaluate compliance with states and other jurisdictions tax regulations.
Reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forwards. Analyze return on investment for capital expenditures and expansion.
Maintain inventory control analysis.
Work with Management on performance, margin analysis, cost savings, and driving process improvements
