The ideal Operations Manager candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing and supervising the daily planning and use of all operational functions and equipment related to, including, and not limited to cylinder filling, maintenance, installations, supply and distribution.
Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:
Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or Chemistry preferred.
10 years management or supervisory experience required.
Chemical/gas manufacturing experience required.
Process analysis and strong decision-making abilities.
Experience with safety systems and an understanding of OSHA requirements.
Experience with quality systems, medical or food processes, FDA, and ISO requirements.
Experience improving the efficiency and safety of plant operations.
Lead the tactical planning and execution of all operational functions.
Provides a consistently high level of customer service through assisting both internal and external customers.
Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
Ensures compliance with all local, State, and Federal safety (OSHA, CGA, DOT) and quality (FDA, ISO) requirements. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Recruit, develop and retain employees by building organization capacity through employee development, cross-training, coaching, and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
Excellent PC skills (proficient in a Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to apply basic mathematical operations principals on a regular basis.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical principles.
Ability to apply general or conceptual rules to specific problems with the overall intent to problem solve.
Ability to recognize a problematic situation and seek assistance as necessary.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
