The Associate Director, Contract Channel Implementation will be responsible for leading the development of trade and supply distribution strategy, for both wholesale, specialty distribution and hybrid designs. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of product level, channel distribution networks that meet the needs of patients and caregivers to ensure safe, reliable, and timely delivery of therapies to patients through distribution partners and networks. This position will develop deal terms with wholesalers, specialty distributors, and specialty pharmacies. This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
BA/BS degree from an accredited institution required; MBA from an accredited institution preferred.
Five plus (5+) years relevant market access and three plus (3+) contracting experience required.
Two plus (2+) years relevant program management or account management experience required.
More than three (3) years leadership and or project management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead projects internally and externally through to implementation required.
Six Sigma Greenbelt preferred.
Three plus (3+) years’ experience with both retail and specialty pharmacy preferred.
Strong understanding of trade operations and trade, specialty distribution, specialty pharmacy industry related processes including critical aspects of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements required.
Ability to build relationships and expand company's presence with wholesalers, distributors, and Specialty Pharmacies.
Ability to monitor trading partners and market shifts to anticipate and adapt strategies to accommodate evolving market conditions.
Detailed understanding of wholesales, chains, specialty pharmacy and distribution trading partners.
