We are seeking an Outside Regional Sales Manager for the South Central region who can assist us in increasing sales, maintain relationships with current customers, and establish lasting relationships with new business partners. The role of the Outside Regional Sales Manager is to maximize sales revenue in a defined region. This candidate preferably has experience as an outside sales person who is accustomed to being on the road traveling by car. This is a heavy travel position, mostly by car and occasionally by plane. Preferably, the candidate will be based in Texas.
The candidate must possess experience within the Truck performance parts and accessories realm, with the additional ability to visit and communicate effectively with customers who operate shops specializing in Muscle, Modern Performance, and European vehicles. Solid networking and relationship-building skills are critical components of this position. The candidate must have the ability to work independently, and be able to collaborate with other sales staff via phone and email.
Visit with 40-60 shops per month
Building relationships with owners, buyers, and other key contacts at business partners in your region.
Conduct meaningful discussions with key contacts at business partners regarding promotions, brands, inventory, open issues, needs, etc.
Submit completed field reports to assist internal sales staff in business growth
Bring in new profitable business by creating new relationships in your region.
Field reports include pictures of the shop, logging contacts from the visits, notes on our current business and ways to grow business, as well as noting any open issues.
Quarterly focus brands and targeted selling of specific manufacturer brands and products will be required. Notes specific to focus brands is part of the field report.
10+ years of industry experience
Five years performance automotive expertise
Three years wholesale or e-commerce automotive aftermarket experience
Territory: Focused on TX, LA, AR, OK, NM, CO, KS, & MO
Salary: Competitive Pay + Bonus
