This position will be working primarily with the Altoona, PA and Indiana, PA sales offices, but can be located anywhere in Central to Western PA.
ErieTec, Inc is seeking an experienced, professional regional outside sales manager to make quick connections to people, motivate them and inspire them to achieve results.
As the Regional Sales Manager, under the direction of the Field Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving your team toward achieving goals by gaining the commitment and buy-in of others. You will need a strong sense of how each individual is uniquely motivated in order to maximize interactive communication and the decision making process.
This job requires a high degree of “selling,” whether it is ideas and policies within the organization or products and services in the marketplace. You will develop your team and delegate when necessary.
This position will The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-directed, pro-active team leader. You will work closely with the management team to coach and lead a cohesive team of inside sales & outside sales professionals.
Your team is responsible for providing innovative solutions to customers via consultative selling of high tech automation products. They will establish long term business relationships with customers, perform on-site calls to assigned and prospective accounts to develop and/or maintain relationships with customer contacts, identify and close on sales opportunities, and maintain existing business. Additionally, they will demonstrate products, present proposals, and close on sales opportunities while maintaining adequate documentation and record keeping.
Four year college degree from accredited institution or related experience Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience (inside and outside sales), including: 3 years of outside sales experience Proven results applying successful coaching techniques in a business to business sales environment Experience selling mechanical/electrical products in a commercial and/or industrial market Previous industrial distribution experience preferred Sales and administrative techniques Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills for data base and word processing Basic mathematical skills.
Moderate to extensive overnight travel, in the assigned region Non-sedentary work, substantial movement Lifting up to 50# infrequently
